This shirt comes from Rooney’s finest goalscoring season for Manchester United, when he scored 34 goals in all competitions and was named both the PFA Players' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year. Nike produced the away shirt with a black base, a bold blue chevron across the chest, white detailing, the embroidered club crest and AIG sponsor. Manchester United retained the League Cup and finished second in the Premier League during the campaign. A great classic football shirt from one of Rooney’s best individual seasons.
