This shirt was worn during Eric Cantona's first full season back following his suspension, as he inspired Manchester United to the Premier League and FA Cup Double with a series of decisive performances and captain-like influence. It is equally remembered for the 3-1 defeat away to Southampton, when United famously changed out of this grey kit at half-time after claiming it was difficult to see. Manufactured by Umbro, it features the embroidered club crest, embroidered Umbro logo, Sharp Viewcam sponsor, fold-over collar and pattern across the fabric. A memorable shirt from the mid-1990s, it remains closely associated with both Cantona's remarkable comeback and one of the Premier League's most unusual kit stories.
