This blue Japan home shirt was released ahead of the 2018 World Cup and remained in use during the following international campaign. The Adidas design features a textured pinstripe graphic across the front, white three-stripe detailing on the shoulders and red trim around the V-neck collar. Japan wore the shirt as they progressed from Group H at the World Cup, beating Colombia before advancing to the last 16 on the fair play tiebreaker. Their tournament ended with a 3-2 defeat to Belgium after Japan had taken a 2-0 lead.
