This long-sleeved Celtic home shirt was worn during the 2008-09 season, when Gordon Strachan's side finished second in the Scottish Premier League, four points behind Rangers, but defeated their Glasgow rivals 2-0 after extra time to win the Scottish League Cup. The Nike design features Celtic's green and white hoops, a green V-neck collar with yellow detailing, matching yellow Nike branding, the club crest with a star above it and the Carling sponsor across the front. The shirt was worn by players including Shunsuke Nakamura, Scott McDonald and Georgios Samaras, with McDonald finishing as Celtic's leading league goalscorer with 16 goals.
