The Ajax 2021-22 third shirt was released by Adidas in collaboration with Bob Marley's family, celebrating the connection between the club's supporters and his song Three Little Birds, which became a terrace anthem following a friendly against Cardiff City in 2008. The black shirt features red, yellow and green Adidas stripes across the shoulders and sleeve cuffs, with a red Ajax crest, Adidas logo and Ziggo sponsor. Three small birds appear beneath the back collar, sitting on Amsterdam's Saint Andrew's crosses. Ajax wore the shirt during a season in which they won their 36th Eredivisie title and reached the Champions League round of 16.
